From Paris, With Love

Paris: the city of light, love, and fashion. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend a weekend in this amazing city, and to say I was inspired is an understatement. I got to stay steps away from the Eiffel Tower, and saw monuments and exhibits that took my breath away. Being in a city so known for its fashionable culture, I felt a sort of need to look casual yet fashion forward. Check out what I wore during my time there!

Day 1: Gingham Simplicity

The first day was a bit warmer than expected, so I opted for a mini dress over a long sleeve shirt. I love layering like this because it makes pieces look so different. This gingham dress has been one of my favorite pieces over the past few months; it’s so simple and easy to style in a ton of ways. I paired this outfit with some simple black boots to create a timeless look.

Day 2: Buttoned up Basics

I bought this patterned button-up shirt recently and was so excited to style it. For a day of exploring the museums of Paris, I paired it with a black tee underneath, a black belt, and some high-waisted mom jeans. To me, the button-up with the vintage-inspired jeans creates a cool, effortless look and a really nice silhouette. Adding the belt added that extra touch to make me look put-together all day long.

Day 3: Keep it Black and White

Lastly, I chose a black and white ensemble for this chilly day in Versailles. I wore my distressed black jeans with some black boots, the same basic white tee, and my favorite leather jacket. Leather jackets are a staple piece, and the stars on this jacket add that extra something that makes the outfit more fashionable. This outfit was easy to wear from morning to the plane, and kept me looking urban and chic.

Have you ever been to Paris? What was your favorite part? I’d love to hear in the comments!
